After a series of highly successful summer pop-ups, the team behind Emeri Matcha Bar needed to transition into their first permanent commercial space. To maintain their business momentum and hit a strict opening deadline, the design strategy had to be fast, impactful, and highly efficient.

To protect the client's timeline, we designed a strategic, minor renovation specifically structured to avoid triggering a lengthy building permit process and meet the client’s budget.

We retained the core framework of the previous tenant's service bar. We strategically modified and extended the layout only where necessary to optimize barista workflow. Structural changes were limited in exchange for powerful cosmetic transformations, contrasting raw, textural surfaces with sleek, modern elements.

The result? An elevated, brand-aligned interior delivered on an accelerated timeline. Emeri Matcha Bar opened its doors on schedule, transitioning their loyal pop-up following into a permanent community hub without losing momentum
